Delancey Hollywood

I put together this  Wordpress site for the Delancey Hollywood Restaurant. The theme underwent extensive customization to get the look and feel of  Bowery Enterprises, which has a retro style to most of their wonderful restaurants.  The challenge was getting the style the client desired, while retaining the Parallax functionality.

The site was also built to be responsive, and to enable easy editing for the regularly changing menu items.

Rosewood Tavern

This responsive WordPress website for Rosewood Tavern in Los Angeles, was built to showcase the beautiful photography of the restaurant, and also show it’s signature dishes. The menu was implemented to be easily editable by the client. Visit RosewoodTavern.com.

Phideaux

I implemented this website for the fabulous Progressive Rock Band Phideaux. I selected a Woo Theme for this project since it had the capacity built in to showcase the large amount of imagery, photos for this band. And it had built in Soundcloud integration. View the Phideaux website.

UCLA Health

I’ve been working as part of the content management team for UCLA Health for the past several years. The site uses a proprietary Content Management System. The work involves updating and creating content for this over 8,000 page website. I work on jQuery solutions for slideshows, and image editing for the main website. I also implemented an employee intranet site using WordPress. Visit uclahealth.org.

RPM Art

For this WordPress website for Richard Pietruska, I selected a WordPress theme called “Gridline.” I then implemented the theme in it’s simplest state, without the background image or lightbox rollovers which came with the theme. The simple grid showed the artist’s work without distraction. All of the bright automobile colors stood out nicely on the black background. The main challenge for this site was getting the images in a pleasing visual order, while working with WordPress’s method of organizing posts by date. The images were posted and then all of the dates had to be changed to get them in the correct order, while keeping them organized by category as well.

In and Up Pilates

I designed this website and branding several years ago as an html website for In & Up Pilates. It had worked well for them. The website link for the old html site is: In and Up Pilates. Recently I recreated the site as a WordPress site. I built the WordPress version as a custom theme. The website link for the new WordPress site is: In and Up Pilates WordPress site. It is very similar to the original html version, but with additional features, such as a custom post type for client testimonials, that can be easily posted in that section.
