Tournament of Roses Logo

The Tournament of Roses had offered a logo competition to my 8th term Graphic Design class at Art Center College of Design. I was fortunate to have had my design selected to represent this prestigious organization. Especially since I was part of a class of very talented designers, and there were many outstanding submissions in this competition.

They said that they selected my design because it was very scalable, i.e. that it could work large on a football field or small on an enameled pin.

I’m pleased that they have kept with this design all of these years later. It was really a special and rewarding experience to have the opportunity to do this work.
